When I bought these books, ( I bought one and two.) I thought they would be like the other stories I've read. Black chick meets billionaire, billionaire falls deep and hard, they have deep and hard sex, profess mad love for each other, ect. Yes, those things traditional to bwwm romance novels did happen, but then things slid sideways. Him being married threw a wrench into things. Her hearing him having sex with his wife made things worse. Terika and Rich both seem to be a few slices shy of a full loaf, but Rich is worse. I enjoyed both books but part two did me in. The scene leading up to the cliffhanger was probably suppose to be suspenseful, but having Rich describe events as they unfolded had me almost in tears from laughing so hard. I can't wait to see what part three will offer. I do hope it comes out soon.Would I recommend this series? Absolutely. The reason for four stars? Typo's.

OKAY THE PLOT THICKENS... I SWEAR THIS IS A SOAP OPERA WHO WOULD HAVE THOUGHT RICH SCREWS WERE THIS LOOSE LOL... TERI IS MY BOO AND ALL BUT MAMI NEEDS TO SLOW DOWN THE DANGER IS TO REAL........I'M FEELING CHASE BUT I MUST WONDER WHAT'S UP WITH HIM CELESTE IS STILL A RYDER FOR HER GIRL BUT EVEN SHE KNOWS ISH IS JUST TOO REAL CAN'T WAIT FOR THE NEXT PART BC HONEY THAT ENDED I WENT OFF THE CLIFF GOOD FOLLOWUP MS LEAH
I hope book 3 wraps up these crazy folks because I'm too hooked lol. Rich is straight crazy, Teri is getting a conscience. Celeste is trying to be best friend & lover, Seth is too. Tre pops up and now wants to be daddy full time daddy to TJ, Chase wants to play Dr Welby, Meka needs her behind kicked if she's truly into Rich but I think she's plotting something. Sarah needs to get a backbone, Jermaine needs to move on and Mama ain't having none of this crap. This book has it all for you . Good Job Leah!!
After reading this, I really felt this story should have been wrapped up in only one book. However, it has been stretched to yet another one. This wouldn't have been so bad if the writer had been more consistent. I mean you are using your imagination and she flips the script without warning. Chase started out with green eye, then they became gray, ugh did he wear contacts. Rich left his house to go see Meka with a suit on but right before sex he had on jeans and Rich stepped on Terri's wrist with his expensive shoes but she tried to remove his hand from her wrist. Just lost in translation. Don't think I would be interested in the next read.
This was a good story some grammatical errors that I am sad to say is the norm today. Hire an editor! The story was chucked with characters that could have continued into a book two without making this a cliffhanger. Everyone is trying to make a fifty shades of grey book series and failure miserably. If you can't afford an editor you can't afford the team of writers it took to produce that kind of book. Great book are far and in between but a good book is something to be proud of. This author has the potential to be a good author maybe even great I will never know because the cliffhanger ended my intrest
I am sitting here praying that it's finally ending but alas no such luck. I brought part 1 & 2 months ago but never read them until now - OMG what a waste of time and money (too late to return). So as I again flip thru this mess, I still see neither Teri or Rich have any redeeming qualities even though it seems they each may have finally met someone to help them have a "come to Jesus" moment. I hope Chase runs to the nearest exit because Teri needs some serious therapy. Rich on the other hand needs to be locked away for life. The only good thing about this mess is that they may finally kill each other and put everyone out of their misery. Sorry but I am so done with this series.
Wow!!! There were a few errors but I still enjoyed this short read. Teri was going overboard and in her feelings. She just made things worse than what they really were. She had already succeeded in hurting Rich but it obviously wasn't enough. I did feel bad for Sarah since she was hurting more than anyone because she was dealing with a lot. I liked the relationship with Seth and Celeste but was mad she was holding back. Ha ha!!! Tre realized he needed to step up and stop being just a check. Chase was very helpful but Teri's hard-headedness has cost some serious problems. As for Meka I'm a little curious about her. She knows everything there is to know about Rich but why is she so comfortable and alright with it? Damn Rich!!! Dude is crazy put his planning was awful! I'm ready for part 3 because things truly can go either way! Has Sarah finally had enough after Rich's last stunt, will Celeste give Tre the opportunity to do right while building with Seth, has Rich met his match, will more become of Teri and Chase, and will Teri finally realize she's way over her head at seeking revenge??!!
Okay all I can say is I hope Leah will hurry up and write part 3 cause I am addicted to this story. OMG... Rich ain't never gonna learn from his mistakes and he just gets worst and worst each day. I am so glad that he picked Teri cause he picked the right one. Teri ain't no joke and she ain't to be messed over. Rich is used to getting what he wants at all cost, but he done messed up with Teri. Sarah is a weak woman who can't think or stand on her own. She is just a puppet and Rich pulls the strings, she seems okay with that lifestyle. I love this story and I know part 3 will be fantastic as well. Leah please hurry up and get it done and put me out of my misery. I recommend this book to the world.
